San Lotano Oval

If ever there was an ergonomic cigar, it's the AJ Fernandez San Lotano Oval. Half-pressed and streamlined, the Oval is named for its oval head, flat body and rounded edges that allow the cigar to sit very comfortably in the mouth. It is made by AJ Fernandez, which has been manufacturing third-party brands for some time.

Fernandez eventually diversified and launched the San Lotano line in 2010, named after his family's brand in Cuba before the revolution. The factory is located in Estelí.

In 2011, Fernandez released the unique San Lotano oval, which takes into account both function and form. Robust flavors are exemplified by a Habano 2000 wrapper from Ecuador, combined with a leathery, woody blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco that leaves a pleasant dried cherry aftertaste.
