Rum J.M
J.M is an agricultural rum produced since 1845 in Macouba, in the north-east of the island of Martinique (France), between the Roches and Macouba rivers, at the foot of Mount Pelée. The distillery is located in the middle of the 300-hectare Fonds-Préville estate, which has existed since 1790. The J.M rum distillery was founded in 1845 by Jean-Marie Martin, from whom it takes its initials. In 1914, Gustave Crassous de Médeuil bought the rum distillery from Jean-Marie Martin's family. Since then, the Crassous de Médeuil heirs have been responsible for the production of JM rum.
