Cigars Don Pepin Garcia

In June 2002, Don Pepin Garcia, a master torcedor, founded the "El Rey de los Habanos" factory with his family. Pepin comes from a family of tobacco growers and joined the family business in 1961, at the age of 11. He first worked in a factory owned by one of his uncles in Baéz, a small town in Cuba's Villa Clara province. In 1963, he joined another uncle's "Felix Rodriguez" factory, still in Baéz. He enjoyed a long career there, until he was able to leave Cuba for good in 2001. During this period, he received countless distinctions and awards for the quality of his work, including the famous "productivity prize" for managing to roll 320 julietas in four hours! His dexterity and agility were often compared to that of a magician by the Cuban press.

Today, he has his own factory in Miami's Little Havana district. The team of torcedores who work there were trained by Don Pepin himself. They are experts in the most advanced and creative cigar-making methods. This factory belongs to the industry's qualitative elite, recognized by all.

For José "Pepin" Garcia, cigars are his career and his passion. His "El Rey de los Habanos" factory is the realization of a childhood dream: he began rolling his first puro at the age of 11, in the purest family tradition.

Don Pepin Garcia cigars are full-bodied, aromatic and well-balanced.
