Cigars Quai D'Orsay

For many years, only Casa del Habano franchisees were authorized to sell Quai D'Orsay cigars. Casa del Habano is a chain of stores belonging to Cubatabaco. The latter was dissolved in 1994 to allow the creation of Habanos S.A. , which is now in charge of developing Casa del Habano. Today, several retailers are authorized to sell Quai d'Orsay cigars. Although these top-of-the-range cigars meet the requirements of the French market, they are soon in demand in Germany and several other European countries.

Special features Make no mistake about it. Admittedly, this is a French brand. That said, vitolas are made entirely in Cuba. Their tobaccos are hand-rolled and come from the Cuban region of Vuelta Abajo in the province of Pinar del Rey. This is why Quai D'Orsay cigars can be described as puros. They are light, so light that they are on the list of Habanos recommended for beginners. The wrapper of these long-filler cigars is either claro (extremely light brown) or colorado claro (golden brown). As a whole, vitolas release a pronounced woody aroma. Originally, the creations were based around 4 modules, two of which are among the best-known (panatelas, grand corona) and two lesser-known (coronas Claro, Imperiales). In 2012, the Quai D'Orsay brand unveiled a limited-edition creation exclusive to France, the Robusto Embajador, providing an opportunity to launch the Robusto module. To get the best out of these cigars, age them for a few years in their box.
