The journey from seed to finished Davidoff Royal Release cigar took 10 years, with the first harvest in 2004/2005. To ensure exceptional flavor and aroma development, the tobaccos were harvested and dried separately from the others, and fermented at a lower temperature and humidity.

All the tobaccos used in the blend are carefully selected and matured for at least 8 years. The very special Aromatica Dominicana wrapper, specially chosen for its beauty and brilliance, is reserved exclusively for Davidoff Royal Release cigars.

Davidoff Royal Release cigars are made by just eight of Davidoff's most experienced supervisors, each with at least 15 years' experience.

The boxes include a certificate hand-signed by Davidoff's Master Blender, Henke Kelner, and the two Master Rollers who rolled the cigar.
