Cigars Ashton Classic
The history of Ashton Classic cigars
Second-generation Philadelphia cigar merchant Robert G. Levin had a dream... to make cigars under his own name. In 1985, he met Carlito Fuente, a tobacco and cigar producer in the Dominican Republic, and teamed up with him to create the " Ashton " brand. He plays an active role in selecting the tobaccos used to give Ashton its unique style. For the tripe, he uses only the finest, most aromatic Dominican tobaccos. For the wrapper of the classic range, he chose a Connecticut wrapper of the highest quality.
Note that this cape is one of the last to be a true "Connecticut" on our market. It comes, as the name suggests, from Connecticut. Most other brands have abandoned this terroir and grow connecticut varieties in other countries, mainly Ecuador. In this case, in my opinion, it loses quite a bit of its finesse and is more bitter, which is not to its advantage.
As a result, Ashton Classic cigars are well-balanced, with complexity and character in equal measure. You'll enjoy the unique smoothness of the authentic "Connecticut-Connecticut" wrapper.
A high-flying "school" cigar or a blend for lovers of fine, complex cigars.
