Cigars Trinidad

Trinidad is a Cuban cigar brand ranked at the top (alto) of the brand pyramid according to the company Habanos S.A. which markets it.

The Trinidad cigar brand was created in 1969. It is named after one of Cuba's three historic cities. Like its counterpart Cohiba, it is not intended for sale, and its range comprises just one module, called Fundadores (large panatela).

It then serves as a promotional brand, mainly through diplomatic gifts.

It was only in 1997 that the brand was commercialized, without losing its character as a brand primarily intended for diplomatic gifts. At present, however, it accounts for only 0.2% of annual Cuban cigar production, which explains its low profile.
