The Alpinist is a blend of rare Spanish-style rums from three different countries: the maturation period of at least 8 years guarantees smooth, light, fruity aromas. Cuban-influenced rums made from molasses are known for their light, smooth distillates.
THE GREAT ALETSCH GLACIER
Normal water is not good enough for our premium spirits. We use Swiss glacier water, which rises to over 3,160 meters above sea level on the Jungfraujoch! The Aletsch glacier is the largest and longest glacier in the Alps. Between the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, it has its own ice tunnels on the Jungfraujoch. These are the sources of glacial water, which is used to reduce the distillate to bottling strength. Natural glacier water gives our spirits a particularly mild, pleasant flavor.
