Considered one of the cradles of original wild cocoa, Peru has preserved a rich heritage of native varieties, including the famous white beans of Gran Blanco cocoa.
Rediscovered in 2008, and now considered one of the noblest in the world, this white cocoa is grown in the Alto Piura valley, in the north-west of the country.
Our Gran Blanco beans come from a cooperative of small producers who respect the strictest rules of sustainable development. Located below 800 metres altitude, the plantations are exclusively farmed organically.
