Cigars Quintero
The Quintero cigar adventure began in 1924, in Cienfuegos, one of Cuba's main ports. Agustin Quintero, helped by his brother, opened a small-scale factory. With the help of his older brother, the business took off in 1940 and became Quintero y Hermano. Its main market was Spain. Machine-made since the 1980s, these short-tripe Havana cigars are now hand-rolled again.
Despite hand-rolling, the brand's moderate prices are to be commended. Fans of complexity are not customers of the brand, but will nevertheless find cigars at very respectable prices.
