Description
One of Mauritius's most famous rums is Arcane Extraroma. Similar to Rhum Agricole from Martinique and Guadeloupe, Arcane Extraroma Grand Amber is not made from molasses, but from freshly pressed, fermented sugarcane juice. Rum made from sugarcane juice is generally fruitier than molasses rums, which account for around 90% of the market. It is stored for 12 years using the Solera process, which is also used in the production of sherry and brandy.
