Dominique Boyé

Dear friends and customers of La Couronne S.A.,

This message is to inform you of the sad news that Dominique Boyé passed away in March this year.

Dominique Boyé was not only an enlightened connoisseur and a great collector of cigars, particularly Havanas, which he enjoyed on a daily basis, he was, quite simply, passionate about life. A fine gourmet, a loyal and generous friend, all those who had the good fortune to know him will be able to testify to his charisma, demonstrating the extraordinary character he was.

When he and his wife Isabelle invited you to their table, it was always a feast for the kings! Dominique possessed a unique sense of hospitality, and knew how to put you at ease with a simple phrase. His endless anecdotes and interpersonal skills made him an exceptional person.

A loyal, generous and benevolent friend, Dominique distilled his sound advice to countless enlightened amateurs and beginners both inside and outside La Couronne S. A.. Dominique will be missed by all. To the entire La Couronne S. A. team , we already miss Dominique.

An incomparable and exemplary personality! Dominique never broke his word, never deviated from his guiding principles, his probity and his love of people.

Inhabiting this generous body, he knew how to make you want to taste wine, spirits and, of course, cigars! Dominique gave me my first Vintage Havana, a Dunhill Estupendo, an extremely rare nugget, an exceptional cigar from an exceptional person.

Our thoughts are with his wife Isabelle at this difficult time.

Every time I light a Havana, I think of Dominique, and I think that those who knew him will think of him fondly, with an excellent cigar in his memory.
