Cigars Casa Magna Colorado
The Quesada family behind Casa Magna cigars has been working in the tobacco industry for over 100 years. Originally from Spain, they migrated to Cuba in the 1880s. The Cuban revolution drove them into exile in the Dominican Republic, where they developed the leaf tobacco trade over several decades. One of their grandsons, Manuel Quesada, set up a small cigar factory in 1974.
In the 1970s, to replace the "Joya de Ncaragua" brand, Manuel Quesada and Nestor Plascencia created Casa Magna. Casa Magna cigars are made exclusively from Nicaraguan tobacco, so they are indeed Puro de Nicaragua. Casa Magna cigars are quite powerful, usually rolled in a maduro cape. The presentation is exemplary, in a beautifully finished lacquered box.
