Casa Magna Colorado Cigars

The Quesada family, the originators of Casa Magna cigars, have been in the tobacco industry for over 100 years. Originally from Spain, they migrated to Cuba in the 1880s. The Cuban revolution led to their exile in the Dominican Republic, where they developed the leaf tobacco business for several decades. One of the grandsons, Manuel Quesada, set up a small cigar factory in 1974.

In the 1970s, in order to replace the “Joya de Ncaragua” brand, Manuel Quesada and Nestor Plascencia created Casa Magna. Casa Magna cigars are made exclusively from Nicaraguan tobacco, so they are indeed Puro de Nicaragua. Casa Magna cigars are quite strong, usually rolled in a maduro wrapper. The presentation is exemplary, in a beautifully finished lacquered box.
